Brigadoon WineryEveryone is searching for a Brigadoon. Well, we found our little bit of heaven in North Central Wisconsin, located in an area largely populated by people of Finnish descent. They found here the natural beauty of their native land, rich with an abundance of wildflowers and fruit. The purpose of the Living History Encounter Inc. is to present historical information about the European and Native American peoples who lived in the Great Lakes region during the time period of 1600 through 1840, referred to as the Fur Trader Era.
