DNR Burning PermitsWisconsin residents can get burning permits by dialing the phone or booting up their computers this year. People can call the Department of Natural Resources at 1-888-WIS-BURN between 7 AM and 10 PM daily. A customer service representative will issue the permit over the phone and it will be delivered either by email or traditional mail. Permits are also now available on the DNR's website, they're still available through local ranger stations and fire wardens. All permits are free and good for the calendar year. E-Waste Collection & RecyclingEagle Waste & Recycling, Inc. is now accepting electronic devices sold to Wisconsin households and K-12 public schools for recycling. We are the only DNR registered E-Waste Site in Vilas County. E-Waste items include TV's, computer monitors, computer CPU's, keyboards, fax machines, DVD players, VCR players, consumer desktop printers and scanners. Pedycort Reclamation HoursThe hours of St. Germain's dump on Pedycort changed as of June 15, 2011:
May 1 to October 1 Wednesday & Saturday 8 am - 4 pm Sunday 8 - noon October 2 to April 30 Wednesday 8 - noon Saturday 8 am - 4 pm Items accepted at the reclamation center.
